Zebra,
I see a-ha
saw Racing Stripes
I loved it yipes
it made me cry
and i know why
it spoke to my heart
film-making is such an art
i was surprised cuz thought it was a cartoon
with live animals talking wow and then
when tears flowed a kid next to me stared
i guess she never saw someone older than her cry before
I could feel her stare but didn't go there
I just kept wiping the tears away
maybe she will understand someday
i loved the premise of the story
i loved the lesson learned
i hope a lot of people got it
you have to believe in yourself
don't let others tell you
what or who you are
what or who you should be
just be yourself
let your dreams go
full force forward
let your dreams come true
they can you know
if you let them go
on their way and
never go back
full force on the race track
or never back away when faced with a challenge
go for it and give it your all
if you do it is ok if you fall
cuz you know you did your best
and your best is all you can do
if they don't appreciate you
who cares anyways
you need to live your life your way
no holds barred
go full force
trust the source
you'll never know til you get out there and try
do your best and figure out why
you held back and encourage others to go forward
there is so much to look toward
if only we allow ourselves to be free
to just do it and let's see..
now if i could only take my own advice
that'd be really nice
Isn't it something how animal stories touch your heart?
Beautifully written. Love, Mom
