I always give myself enough

time to get ready

but I'm always running late

It don't matter how much time

I give myself to get ready

cuz I'm always running late



Is it the thrill of living on the edge

and playin' against all odds

and breakin' all the rules

that makes me wait until

the last minute to do it

do I thrive on the challenge

to get it done



You know you gotta beat that deadline

or suffer the consequences

the pressure is on

some incentive

it does the trick

if it keeps you going

gives you a sense of accomplishment

and that's somethin' we all need
