It makes me crazy
when my thoughts are hazy
Forgotten rhymes
this happens sometimes
Had some lines in my head the other day
didn't write them down right away
now forgot what I wanted to say
to my dismay
in disarray
Ideas come so fast
but they don't last
easy come easy go
funny how rhymes flow
lost and found
in the sound
still around
thoughts abound
maybe they'll come back to me someday
paper and pen in my hand I pray
hope I'll be prepared
so those thoughts can be shared
they might come back some day
by a different name
they'll never be the same
hate to lose my train of thought
my train of thought has gone....express
my train of thought has gone express
my train of thought has gone express........
I can relate, al seems like when I go to bed that my thoughts are more cleare to write but but I have to go to sleep.
You're not the first case i've seen of tose who lose great poems. Here's the trick, carry around a tiny journal with you anywhere you go. Even a pocket comp. book would work. and a pen, dont' forget the pen. and if you see anything insirational or think of a poem one day, jot it down. I met a singer once, her name was michelle branch, who would carry around alittle journal, or sometimes just a pen, and when she thought of something, jotted it down on the closest thing to her, sometimes paper, sometimes a napkin. poetry is everywhere, you gotta be ready for it! nice poem, keep it up!
I can relate to this when im driving and can't stop to write and idea or somewhere where it would be inappropriate to pull out a pad of paper and write, doesnt mean one doesnt think when in varied situations. However on the home front, I have a paper pad by my computer station, my regular desk, the phone in livingroom, phone in kitchen, phone in bedroom and yes even in bathroom small sticky pad under sink cabinet and pencil kept down there- prepared in the house hahaha lol.....
