Snowflakes may be fragile

but you must be agile

to walk or drive

not slip or slide

when they fall

the harder they fall

the harder you may fall

they make mountains of molehills

and bring us cheap thrills

we can go sledding

or have a snow day

and go outside and play

and make a snowman or throw a snowball

or make snow angels or maybe fall

but the soft cushion protects us from real hurt

better than falling on solid dirt

clean white snow

aglow

slip and slide

take a ride

bundle up and have fun

cuz soon the sun

will come and melt it away

so enjoy it for the day
