Real Dream

I met you in the galaxy

by a constellation

I asked where you were heading

No particular destination

The concept of reality is awesome man, totally

What is real? What is not? Just give me what you've got

What is real? What is not? The real dream

What is real? What is not? The real dream

Your starship was parked next to mine

starship number nine

We took a twilight spin

in an unknown origin

The concept of reality is awesome man, totally

What is real? What is not? Just give me what you've got

What is real? What is not? The real dream

What is real? What is not? The real dream

We flew so fast

We soared so high

Wish this dream would last

It's just up in the sky

The concept of reality is awesome man, totally

What is real? What is not? Just give me what you've got

What is real? What is not? The real dream

What is real? What is not? The real dream

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this poem and later fell into a band where we turned it into a song....that is where the chorus came in. It was a fun song. Talk about imagination running wild, check this one out...too much imagination maybe but like it, do you?

I bet this was a fun song, it sounds like it would be.

Yup. Reality is almost never what it seems. I've never been a hugh Scott Adams fan, but his book "The Dilbert Future" has some really good thoughts to ponder along this line. Example: Gravity doesn't exist. What's really happening in this constantly expanding universe of ours, is that the earth is expanding faster than we are (being bigger) and it's just continuously pushing us out of the way.
