I'm A Gambler

Heads or tails

Let's flip a coin

Heads it's yours

Tails it's mine

Pick a number from one to ten

If you guess right then you win

Let's play some five card stud

And some black jack too

I wanna see if I can beat you

Gimme some money Jack

I'm goin down to the track

I got a hunch about which horse

Is coming in first ofcourse

Let's play bingo

I dig their lingo

It keeps me in suspense

Only costs fifty cents

I enter sweepstakes

And contests too

One of these days I'll win

And be a great success too

Author's Notes/Comments:

written long ago...not in my nature to gamble...very careful with the very little money I ever have...but got free passes to the race track once and was pretty lucky....won like 20 bucks first time out just with names of horses I liked...Ofcourse, I didn't bet any money, my dad gave me some and I won it all back and made 20.00. I gave him his money back and offered the winnings too but he wouldn't take them. I had to leave the money in the car that he gave me to start with cuz he wouldn't take that either...so anyways, I didn't really gamble... it wasn't my money...so I guess it doesn't count....guess I should call it I'm Not a Gambler?...but here's what I'd do if I was...using my imagination as usual...

The only gamble we should take is the adventure of life itself guaranteed to always be interesting, sometimes inspirational but never dull...
