Think I'll go it alone

Don't need no one to call my own

Just me, myself, and I

And here's the reason why...

I've loved and lost just once too much

Got no time to waste on sorrow and such

Leave me alone, I'll be all right

Though I may cry in the night

What's the reason

for all the teasin'

So I won't date

Don't wanna be anyone's bait

I'm not out to impress

So don't expect no fancy dress

I'm just here to have a good time

Tell me is that any crime

I have lots of friends

And I like to have fun

I just haven't found that special someone

I'm not exactly looking too hard

But you never know when you'll be caught off guard

And fall head over heels, madly in love

It just takes a little push....not a shove

So they say...

That'll be the day...
