at some deeper level
lingering in communion
I find myself unapologetically smitten
by the vigor of some admiration
revealed to me
though flattering, he pens he is not
still I must adjust my cap of reason
for out of my ordinary realm of interaction
he leaps into my path
grinning perfectly like a tiger
who's had not his meal
eager at my lovely self to snap
quite a powerful rhythmic punch
he very likely unknowingly packs
please know that
school girl antics were never my thing
not even whilest I was an actual young
school girl myself
though to be fair, try as I might
I realize I am not wholly immune
to such tender sweetness
for me which he easily exudes
and a harmless jealousy could sprout up indeed
if before another I witnessed his confessed delight
so dearest 'Wisdom Fierce'
be not a martyr
shuttle me through
the mesmerizing waters
of effervescent colors
swirling around me like flares.........
