I longed not to awaken thus
a heady visitation it seemed
a curious mix of deception
intermingled with just a touch
of trust
of trust
two opposing layers to life
careened so to cleverly collide
a delicate dalliance caked with
a dusting of insecure dust
a dusting of insecure dust
mirrored to the manner of serene
sidelined by just a touch of malevolence
the circumstance through the vehicle
of a dream
blends aspects of good and evil
from both depths of one's spirit
the inner warring
though seamlessly invisible
to the eyes of the every day living
battles on at some unrealized level
within
marring in its discharging
of negative emotions
such entity we label
one's manipulative pain body
