FROM BEHIND THE HEART'S PRISON

from my dreams
woe took flight
splendid hours
fluttered their wings
as their soldier minutes
marched on past morning's might
surrendering many things
which nailed a bitter conscience
to the walls of day's first light
breath for me
sweetest wind
let my laughter join with his
but just once
this tearful night of all
unending nights
so to bound him back to me
but once again...................
