MY DEARLY BEFUDDLED FAHAD

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

though time alters many tangible and intangible things
least which though will it alter my friendship with thee
'My Dearly Befuddled Fahad'
a lost oasis though that you may be
sunset's finest repose on it's last gallant day
mercurial madness stirred
in such a pensive poetic way
the winds of life's passing
will never alter this bond of literary communion
we seem to so easily share
for we are two quills dipping in but the same ink
ever here after
lines of written passage so sweetly spared...............

Author's Notes/Comments:

Inspired by a sweet little emailed note sent to me by my friend Fahad and fellow post poems poet humanpulse. He was thanking me for being one of his true friends. It moved me to reassure him I'd always be his friend as friendship I feel is very important and true friends are difficult it seems to keep.

Feel good

Oh, Melissa, you should already know how I feel for you! We have been communicating for many years. By now, you should know that you have been to me more empathic than a sister, more understanding than a friend, and more enlightening than a teacher.
By the way, I still see me as a struggling student in the University of Life. I didn’t graduate yet and I don’t think I will ever graduate.
Learning (burning to know) is a never ending process.
Feel good friend.
