THE SO RELIABLE PLEASURE ( FOR WE POETS)

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

we poets tend
to romance ourselves
with poetry
we write what we wish
would be written
we react to
pain we hope we
never have to encounter
we seek the unseekable
and gaze out upon
what for most others is
the unseeable
we dance our thoughts around
the yet knowable
coming all too quickly to realize
life would be unbearable
without 'The So Reliable Pleasure'
of our words...........

Author's Notes/Comments:

was reading other poets' works and as I did so these words came to settle upon my brain. A universal vein very often weaves through the words of poets alike. What would we be without our words, is simple just like everyone else non poetically speaking.........

Thank you so much Cynthia ..............

I really appreciate your sincerity and so very kind words. Feel free to read as many as you want. But do be warned if you go back to the beginning and read forward you will see like that old Virginia Slims cigarette ad, 'I've COME A LONG WAY BABY'................... and that is about as nice as I can say that...... thank you truly for reading...........
