the gauzy veil
settles more
and more lovingly
all around us
leaning as we are
so tenderly close
you tuck yours
all around me
as I carefully
arrange mine
around you thus so
a warm ever cherished
deeper feeling
daily is reborn
to magic and this purpose
our two hearts
the heavens have sworn
for the paths we have been guided to
are mystical yet real
joyous treasures yet uncovered
are ours to each other
yet to reveal
clasp my hand to your cheek
with a dare of hope in your
glittering eyes
let our pupils then to each other
lovingly speak
the words we need not
with our mouths repeat
you are my breath and sky
and I, at times the odds you feel
you must somehow defy
the convergence of our free
flowing energies forces
into the other
forms more and more
a vital foundation
on which your ultimate prime objective
safely rests
and you certainly know by now
I would hold my very own heart beat
and breath forever
just for even a glimmer of a chance
to look into your fiercely loyal eyes
when you come back to me once again...........
