I long to see Paris
I caress the fantasy
as I flick the idea
around in my mind
out of season
I think I shall go
with a romantic
adventurous man
by my side
that loves me impossibly so
the lights, the art,
the music
the ambiance and vibrations
wholly absorbed I shall be
in him , in Paris , in me
a very romantic French like moan
just now manages to
escape my flaring nasal cavity
ah oui oui!
my mind sets off on a glorious
flight
of how he will touch me with
youthful masculine regard
the feel of his eyes drinking in
my profile as I stand awed
in the soft puritan lights
as they bathe the Eiffel Tower's
gorgeous wrought irons' might
masterful shall be our muted charms
lingering in my mind's eye of captivation
I glance
how sleepy am I
for such refinery and romance
such beauty lays serene and gentle
in the timeless longing of my deepest desire
for I know this man will indeed take me
to such place if he could but know
the wish that fuels my feminine heart's fire
for him, for this
for us
an escape into promised moments
held hire
living, really living
in our indulged sensuality
while sharing something pure
and untouched all our own
hope indeed is a state of mind
to which one should aspire
so here's to hope
with our glasses tipped
