what surprisingly unique truths
came my unexpected way today
and from someone on the fringes
who merely checked in
at irregular intervals
when meandering himself along 
the somewhat daunting internet highway
saluting me in warm regard sometimes
as he was passing by
while peeving me at other times
making me ponder
such attitude he carried
towards me
as if it were on the fly
his role and route
that winds through my life
either had some sort of break down
or deliberate stop
for me,you see, he made time today
am not entirely sure why
and yet
as is was obviously meant to be
such timing I shall never question
but a sweet gem from a cool pile
of rocks made he for me
in his endearing attitude
this he did provide
the world turns its back on
many surprises
and her inhabitants often do not know
that they missed an opportunity of sorts
to meet and befriend
and even benefit from a fellow soul
who was obviously placed in their path
to help them further grow
and were that path truncated
the lesson would likely not flourish
and freely flow
through veins of some vague though
fond remembrance
and from the learner, a lost lesson
would quietly even if unknowingly go
so allow me to thank you
my Zeus quoting friend
with your many answers and
clever reparte'
you inspired so many more questions
to be born all over again..................
