he doesn't seem to know it
but
'He Has Castles In His Eyes'
and an over spilling of moonlight
flows from
his gentle tender heart
he incinerates me with the sheer
volume of his
life enriching replies
til I am seamlessly
grafted to him
from finish to start
I am cloud formation to his
sunny shore
a sin less folly
we commit ourselves to
a rocky mutual path
feverishly fostered
in patch work promises of
more
and yet he can not see
the road signs
from the glitter of my tears
which twists this
happily ever fairy tale all
the more out of our reach.............

This is one of the most beautiful poems I have ever read, in over thirty-five years of reading poetry!
