the cowardly beast
at last has been bagged
the world can stand again
and breath easy
such brutality and disgusting
abuse of fellow humans
all beneath the umbrella of
religious intolerance
ere hatred
should not be allowed to
further grow
in the gardens of brotherhood
and humanity
like foul weeds
plucked as he was from his hidden
cave or latest Monastery
the venom is jarred
such poison shall never again
spread mercilessly
not through
this one particular vessel of
dirty hate infested thought
and vile misuse of power
that fostered the murder of some
eight thousand plus Muslim men and boys
one of the most vile and known of
his torturous deeds
today a tatter of justice indeed
was served
but not nearly enough
'tis too bad the Hague doesn't adhere
to the medieval day's of gutting and quartering
of the condemned and convicted
hmmph
a foot note
well, if they did
I'm sure the likes of William Wallace himself
would be proud such method was but
metered out for such
an extreme case of deserved punishment
for an inhumane force such as Karadzic
the world now smiles slyly
contemplating the next domino of
devastation to topple
Milodvic keep in mind your days
perhaps even hours now
are starkly numbered................

So expressive words and so decent. Your poetic verses made me dream of a tomorrow where mankind become mature enough to coexist in harmony despite all the inherited differences. Just like the layers of the rainbow, although different in color, they compose a single phenomenon. Life then would be extremely pleasant. Your words made feel as Martin Luther King felt "I have a dream"!
wow thanks so much Fahad..........
I'm in shock yet again that I missed comments you wrote to me on one of my poems. Please forgive the 6 plus year hiatus. I was so happy to read them just now. Many happy hugs to you my friend. M.
