the stir

she lives and moves

through a glitzy, scary world

where the people wear deceptive face

and speak in a language called innuendo

this rebel plain she sought out

claimed and attained

its inner sanctum she fully fleshed out

to her own express expectations

greed is the life's blood

that freely flows through such inhabitant's

bodies

who saunter in and out of such shallow atmosphere

ambition

the very bones that make their aims strong

she fascinates and enrages many

singing and dancing across such fires of

subjects taboo

while disgusting a narrow minded few

uproar got itself a new poster child

her girl power is enormous

it swept a nation

she could be titled 'Queen Flood of the Media'

as she devastates all who step in her path

her name synonymous with mogul

a power keg of released female sexuality

tempered only by

a cool, brainy business sense

the woman though strikingly unconventional

is dazzling in her fresh approach to life

and hats off

to such unfettered female

living

breathing

loving

strong and oh so forcefully sexy

this anomaly we call modern woman

should be revered

as she is

unflappable sex magnet

maverick of her time

and she is revered

at least

by this captivated fan

and poet

so thank you MADONNA

because of you

voguing

expressing one's self

and female sexuality

is acceptable

and hip

your in your face honesty

moved we women up

fifty plus years or more

into the arena of

I AM WOMAN

now move out of my way
