flakes fall
gently
like
light
being absorbed
by death's own cold
such change
and comparison
only further saddens
the already too starved
romantic
that aches in me
the very presence
of your heart
taunts me to burn
I need a vacation
from your love
nearly as much
as I
need your arms
wrapped tightly
around me
my dilemma is clear
mind stop thinking
so damn much.............

Poignant dilemma indeed! It is yet another way of saying "I need you so much my love" -- as it happens to be M.A.K. in this case. The passionate longing for the beloved rises beyond the desire and seeks to sublimate forever...with his being, as evinced in these lines:
I need a vacation
from your love
nearly as much
as I
need your arms
wrapped tightly
around me
There is no dilemma here but a conflict deep within which, as it appears, is struggling to come to terms with reality. But then, reality is so different for each one of us. A remarkable poem.
