OF AN INTIMACY BORN, MUCH CLOSENESS WE SHARE

Folder:
JOURNAL #34

strangely close

that's what we are

fully unbound and

ungagged

alas

we take tempers far

I trust you

with

my very next breath

you hold a market share

in all my good intentions

no highway to hell

though

with you do I pave

sworn to allegiance

my secrets

you always save

I look to you for guidance

as silly to you as that sounds

and you in turn do so with me

we both stand as beacons

for the others lift

its your passion and wide eyed

innocence I long to dilute

with but the mix of my own

unique blend

of feminineness

I represent goodness and

generosity I am sure to your

mind's eye

a gentle reminder that

true intimacy can be

so very real

you who stands in a place so

battered and conflicted

I must appear to you so lovingly simple

not entirely unlike

that of a tender flower's blooming

on the plains

of a destroyed battlefield

all is not lost

my friend

never forget

I stand here before you to attest

your soul is safe

it always has been

and I caress it

almost daily

with my own

spirit's hands...........................
