'Write For Me'

the poetess beseeches

sheer misery and merry making

with words

such rhythms imply

engulfed by the wave of talent

makes the lover adore the

cloak of being a poet

the beauty of such flow

is a river of sighs

terrific tragedies be nary but

an essential  exercise

of spiritual obstacles

to weave a wounded heart around

ah but through the deep caverns of sensitive talent

and clever word laying of the poetically gifted

such voluptuous a chasm creates in the reader

a chord of such sweet communion

breaking really no new ground

on the belief that all souls really are one

in the shaky, breakable, inescapable experience

of fallible love

making each realize

for themselves

every heart has the same capacity

and susceptible ability

to fall, recover or shatter just as

tragically as the previous

its the poets who sift through the debris

of heartache

to make a better case

for falling in love

one more time.......................

I really liked this, particularly the last few lines. Well said.
