one restless shard
of a character
slouching so
early in the morning
with his hand up
and conducting the wind
somber left wrist
neatly tucked in
a faded blue blazer
and Weatherman they call him
he is not the lighthearted
powder puff everyone perceives
he is dark
he is brooding
he is mysterious
he pockets pain
no world known
could ever be his oyster
yet fishermen absorb
like religion
his daily disclaimers
of wind
sun
and the possibility of
cloud formation overhead
strange someone so
deep could speak tirelessly
of breezes
light showers and unseasonal
humidity..................
