a metaphor for the mind's opinion

of the soul

no doubt

submerged in the tentacles of a capricious myth

ego is a vulture that never grows full

the void of such spiritless being

remarks only on its own overblown image of

saturated self

by the grace of GOD though

mortality sheds us of such diseased vermin

and time while in her hurry never revisits

the mistakes that haunt the hallways of the past
