THE JADED CATHEDRAL

Folder:
JOURNAL #29

peace

interest thrown upon

a tranquil Hibiscus

mercy managed

but only in flattered shards

contemplation

such a lovely pose

there are fences

around this country

some have called

his heart

that jaded cathedral

in his chest

he once wore on his proud sleeve

like an emerald broach for all the world

to fawn over

so shocked would he be

to learn

that I am

of all things

a highly competent

jewel thief..........
