A SNAP SHOT FEELING

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

just yesterday evening
I sat on the front porch
sampling the amazing solitude
utterly enchanted as I witnessed
the mob of stars haul the night sky
so softly away
a trillion plenty sparkling little lights
winked and made merry
as they peeped back into my
mirrored soul
while I, in my unfathomable awe
let them have their way
I fell in love as deep as
a mountain's grave
tirelessly they performed their silent
celestial show
as into that troop in the trillions
I was made to feel welcome
my own sense of loneliness momentarily
set aside
for pursuit and acceptance into
a timeless spiritual awakening
as I enjoyed this otherworldly theater
a heavenly calling card was slipped
into my heart's pocket
it read most clear
for every last one of us
flesh, bone, petal, blade stalk, stem or branch
God is lovingly waiting
he reminds us of this
through his love's vibrations that call out to us
in the complete and utter stillness
so look to the stars more often
it's 'A Snap Shot Feeling' of what
really finally getting to go home feels like
for the soul.................

Star Gazing

A God moment. I stop occasionally for those. No dirty dog dare needed. Stars rock! Rest in peace, Melissa

I am not a stars guy

But this was beautiful.

The universe is just to vast for me

To think about it much.

I would get lost.

Great poem.
