WITH AN EASTER EASE

JOURNAL # 41

'With An Easter Ease' I conceive
that layered beneath the magic
reality sprouts
under the deceptive weightlessness
of illusion
common place
barren trees
standing in the wind
so many aimless leaves
blowing about
dancing across roads
floating in ravines
side street Picassos
manipulate their equipment
as they coat and pave
the aged and fading city
scooping up the discarded debris
while the ever unaware continue on
their way
forgetting yet again to pay any attention
to the chaotic constant presence of change
time seems to stand still as it simultaneously
flies by
we are mere flecks being flung about in a
life size Petri dish of jumbled and confused
inhumanity
hobbled by our very own punitive limits
yet from such garish, gritty, grace
enlightened beings
manage to become sculpted
from the pain of ones experiences, mistakes
and helpless imperfections
what else could I possibly say
other than
awesome concept
carry on.................

Author's Notes/Comments:

Was contemplating what makes us human and what constructs separately in us at the spiritual level to make up the confinguration of our true selves, our souls.

A THOUGHTFULLY WRITTEN POEM

This is a poem which shows your keeness of observation, contemplation and then composition. I loved the middle portion which shows your unique perception defining the conflict of human nature. Wise words and profound conclusions indeed. Well done! Should I tell you who I am? Smiles.....

Well bless your heart Sir Poet............

be careful here or others might start to believe you have the tiniest bit of a crush on me. Grinning as I wiggle my finger at you teasingly. Your comments I'm sure mark up my poetic value here on post poems. Can't yet figure if you are Byron to my Shelley or Keats himself in these poetry comment/letters to me. hmmm that gives you and yon about plenty to ponder on anyway............ you know who, so why type it! winks broadly.

I'm glad...........

readers are a dime a dozen but commenters are a rare commodity. I myself do one ( read) and aspire to be the other (a commenter) thank you so much for taking a moment to express your appreciation. It is always so very welcome in any way shape or form. I even enjoy the negative comments. Cause like the old adage goes bad press is better than no press.  I look forward to reading more of yours. Sincerely, Melissa
