Afraid to sleep

I’m so tired

my eyes

Can hardly

Focus on

These words

I’m writing.

A seizure

Has been

trying

To  break  

Through all damn day.

I hate this feeling

Had to take 2 pain pills

At once today! I hate

Them in many ways

But then again I thank

The good lord for inventing

Meds like them everyday!



I’m afraid to attempt

To sleep afraid to

Drift off into a

Sweet dreams

For fear these

Demons

Known to

The world

As seizures

Will try and take

Over my body.

I’m just at my wits

End so god I put

This in your hands.
