Fort Payne won’t be the

Sock Capital of the world

For much longer I

Don’t think and I’m

Sorry to say.



All these sock mills

Work over for awhile

Then they go on short

Time that’s why I say

Fort Payne is the sock

Capital of the world will

Be a thing of pass before

Long.



Desoto mills is

Closing in 6 to 12 month the

Sock mill where my family they’re

All they just sick about it. But

I know all we have to do is pray and

The lord will take care of us in the best

Way he sees fit!
