The color red is for us to
remember those
That fight in battle
Everyday! And
Do their best
To stay out
Of harms way
So they can see
Their family
Faces again
Someday! The
Color red is also
A reminder of
The blood that’s shed
And how many soldiers
Are dead! The color
Blue is for the
Honor the soldiers
Feel when they go
To war out into
The battle field
And battle in the
Cross fire. It makes
Them feel good that
They’re fighting to maintain
Our freedom with hopes
That our freedom will never be
Taken away! And hopefully
We’ll be war free someday!
The color white is for celebration
It reminds us all to celebrate the free
Country we live in today and celebrate the
Fact that we do what we please each and every day!
i liked that alot. a poem with true meaning. And the great thing is you can interpret that for different wars as well. its all the same thing, were all just humans trying to protect the land we live with and the people we love with. keep the good work going! ^_^
