but we are both loved by Him

and i might prefer waking up early
but we wake up all the same

that even though we answer different surnames
we can share in one surname
and then our children could be many but with one surname

that what you might despise
might not mean much to me
or what I might despise
might mean no less to you

to both treasure what is dear to you
and also treasure what is dear to me

to make sacrifices for one another
to ignore our many differences
