Over the Mountains and Over the Sea

I shall crawl across the oceans

deep and dark and cold and haunted

with sailor's ghosts who wander now

forever, evermore

And after teatime I will skip across

the warm and shallow rivers

and I'll dance in long lost Pirates' gold

until the sun goes down

At which time I think I'll fly across

the coldest, dryest glaciers

and I'll swim merrily with Penguins

'till my legs can hardly move

And by then I'll simply float away

back home where I belong

because I know our love runs deeply

that's why I wrote this song

Author's Notes/Comments:

it's kinda corny/cliche, but i love it all the same. For my Mom and my Daddy and those I've always cared about...(I get the title from a song my grandfather used to sing to me, when I was a child.)
