Breaking Point

The first tear falls to the ground,

And the sound echoes through the room.

Pain pours in from all around

With no clear end in sight.

Fear consumes every thought

Creating walls so high

No light can come through

And end the forever night.

Time seems endless,

Nothing ever changes

Love is a feeling completely foreign,

Neither felt, seen nor heard.

A breaking point must be near,

The pain is like water,

And the walls act as a dam,

But a dam can only hold so much.

Something is on the outside,

Picking at the walls

They are starting to crack

Pieces breaking off.

This damage cannot be repaired.

Only one thing can happen,

The dam must break

And pour the water out over the earth.

The world around the dam is dying

It thirsts for the water,

But is denied access

To the true depths of the water inside.

Soon the dam will break,

And the entire world will know,

Just how deep the water goes,

And how refreshing release can be.

Once you let it all go, you will feel better... I know its hard to let go especialy if youve held on for a while, but it will be ok in time...
