L.A

In the diner,

between the motel and the gas station

I order your favourite milkshake.

And as beautiful as the day is,

The wind sweeping through through the LA trees

I can't escape the blackness

that you gave to me.

i miss you, and I hate you for that

I miss everything you left me

And how I hate you for it.

On the boardwalk

Where you linked your hand in mine.

The pain behind your laughter

the sadness in your eyes.

I know now, your beauty was a gift to the world.

And how it makes me cry.

Respect Choice

.

The hate only hurts you. - They are happy and unhated elsewhere. i liked the poem and its construction. Well said hating-the mood is quite on mark. Melodic and setup milkshake very finely penned. Contrast the fine day, nice.
