You hide, I lie, you're wrong, I'm mistaken.

He said, she said, miscomunicated.

I dodge, you front, wish we'd both stop fakin,

Eyes shut, closed tight, it's time to awaken.

You see, I know, soon we might be breakin.

You stayed, I moved, foundation's been shaken.

You're calm, I'm cool, but inside, I'm quakin.

You give, I gave, now we're both just takin.



Arms out, you jumped, swept up in the rush,

Loveless, no heart, maybe just a crush.

'lectric, so hot, every breath and touch,

You want, I love, why's this hurt so much?

Oceans, rivers, silenced by your hush.

Sit here, you steer, I'll get out and push.

Hang up, call back, you've got lots of guts,

Just wait, I'll leave, but you have to trust.
