One fine day, I lost my way,
I fell away, that's what they say.
Was scared away, cried the whole way,
Found hell that day, the demons play,
I watched as they, led me astray.
My life that day, eaten away,
I learned to stay, the devil's way,
Would put away, Some pain that day,
I saw one day, a blazing ray,
It cast away, the hellish spray.
The light that day, taught me to pray,
But when the ray, had gone away,
Ground where I lay, was burned away,
I was that day, the devil's prey.
I'd seen the way, his sword could slay,
The demons knew, it was my day,
I'd turned away, had hell to pay.
I learned that day, words cannot say,
The burning way, his hate can stay.
Scars from that day, will always stay,
There is no way, they'll pass away.
I chose that day, to trust the ray,
I bowed to pray, and changed that day,
Without delay, in every way,
I threw away, that puppet play.
The evil way, now couldn't stay,
For Jesus' ray, showed me the way.
The darkest day, was blown away.
And now today, I see the way,
And now I pray, to never stray,
Because this way, is how I stay,
Alive today, Christ everyday,
Taught me to pray, to my Yahweh.
