sadness
overcomes her heart
as he tells her it's over.
Her heart becomes weak
as they both shed their tears.
The tears fall like rain on cold
stormy nights as the tears totally
cover the ground. "Don't cry. It
was never meant to be," he says
softly. She continues to cry as
she professes her love for him
over and over. He cries along,
and slowly, walks off.
Both are so very,
very sad.
