I have many friends,

of all kinds,

but those who are,

in the Marines,

Navy, Air Force,

& Armed Forces,

will be missed,

by many inside.



They depart,

to Afghanistan,

serving justice,

those in loss & pain,

but honestly,

how much will it cost,

already many are losing,

jobs or are in debt.



What worries me,

are my brave friends,

who joined the Marines,

Navy, Air Force or Armed Forces,

showing they represent,

their country,

protecting those they,

love by hearts.



My brave friends,

will be in my heart,

return safe and sound,

for your families awaits,

patiently with smiling faces,

tears of joy falling,

hoping to cook,

a homemade meal,

with proud & joy.



My dear brave friends,

I shall love you forever,

so don't forget,

your family, friends,

or me,

for we await,

to see your smiling faces,

once again,

then to embrace,

that moment in our hearts.
