a friendship grew,

into something more,

a bond unbreakable,

by our gifts within.

Your words enchanted me,

shook my soul's core,

a wish desired true,

not played like a fool,

but yet ever so gentle,

cherished, loved, valued,

and appreciated.

Why me???,

runs in my head,

trust was brittle,

love was deceased,

an empty shell,

working endlessly,

drowning in pain.

Closely I've seen,

changes within me,

how you've made me,

feel so free and alive,

safe and protected,

all I can truly say,
