BECAUSE YOU LOVE ME...



I look around.  The world's a mess.

Yet, in my heart I know I'm blessed.

When days grow dark, I still can see

The future holds sweet joy for me,

Because you love me.



Though others fail to understand,

You give me hope, you hold my hand.

As long as I stay close to you,

I have the strength to see me through,

Because you love me.



I once was married but alone,

Have known deep sorrow to the bone,

Yet, when you took me as your own,

Sweet peace I found.  I'm not alone.

Because you love me.



How can I ever pay this debt?

A love so pure I can't forget.

The warmth of unity with you,

Foundation adds.  I am made new,

Because you love me.

This is written to Jesus although you could take it several ways metaphorically.
