I have an Aussie buddy I've never even met,
But should I lose his e-mail, I'd feel a sad regret.
He's brash and bold and loving of his family and kin.
He keeps me laughing with his jokes. I'm glad that I met him!
It's really quite surprising how the Web enlarged my world.
I've always loved Australia since reading as a girl.
Who could know that through the years I'd one day correspond
With a man who lived "down under"? Now, isn't e-mail fun?
