Visit Now The Healing Heart

Healing heart? You ask yourself.

Well what is wrong with her?

She smiles and laughs with friends (a wealth)

And through the throng does stir.

Her clothing rich if not the best,

Her coiffeur nicely combed.

I see no reason for despair

Her health seems good and strong.

Visit now the healing heart?

Say, what could be amiss?

I see the man whose love imparts.

I view their greeting's kiss.

Could she have hurts holed up inside

That no one else can see?

A hurt that crushes yet it hides?

Ah, friend please pardon me.

For I too cry in midnight hours

When all the world doth sleep.

And I too know of grief's deft power,

And secret pains I keep.

Forgive me if I pass you by

Each day as on I go.

For each of us doth surely cry,

Though no one ever knows.

OK, Lesa.  Here's your poem with the title you gave me.  And it comes from my heart at that.

Lesa Gay's picture

I bow to the master! Bravo! This is not only beautifully written (as everything you do) but so true in its content!
You went a different direction than I thought you would but you have met this challenge VERY admirably ~ nothing less than I expected. I will let you know when my challenge is complete. I have a feeling this pupil may be in for some soul searching tonight. You picked a very good title for me. Now to somehow voice the confussion.

Take good care,
~Lesa~
