She said, "Please give me one more day.
"I wrote a poem last night."
I started to give a zero,
But I wanted to do what's right.
"And IF you wrote this rhyme," I said.
"Why don't you have it here?"
She looked at me imploringly
And blinked away a tear.
I knew but an instant later
That she had told the truth.
"See? When I tried to print the page,
That computer just went 'POOF'!"
Oh I know the feeling well! Great little poem, Jess.
Kim
How many times this has happened!
I know the feeling. Happened to me recently. Is very frustration...
I have a computer that eats
my poetry, my scripts
it expecially loves to eat
the perfect line which I
have no way of remembering
because i was sprung in the
moment...
Darn Computers (wink-wink)
Needless to say I love and do relate!
