Sleeping soundly I'm snatched awake by the ringing of the phone.

"Hello," I mumble as I roll to place the reciever to my ear.

"Good morning, Sweetheart," I hear you say with a chuckle in your tone.

I can see your face, feel your breath almost as if you were here.

"You have ten minutes before the alarm," you tell me as I sigh.

"Want some coffee, Baby, a pill for your back?  Jim at your service, My Dear."

"My back is fine this morning," I say with a smile, a stretch, and a cry.

"But if I can have anything I want, I really  want you next to me right here."

"Lord, Woman," you answer with a catch my hearing  doesn't miss.

"I'd do anything if I could only make that lovely scene."

I tell you I love you, you say the same and I blow you a verbal kiss,

Ahhh, Jim, waking up with you is better than a pint of liquid  caffeine.
