What is a friend?

Someone to share the good and bad

To speak a word to make me glad,

You called me friend.



What is a friend?

Someone in whom you can confide,

I'll keep your secret, you keep mine.

I called you friend.



What is a friend?

Someone who loves you, seeks your good,

Would never hurt you if she could,

Aren't you my friend?



"Let's NOT be friends."

You said it to me (round about)

Just cut me off without a doubt.

Why?  Not be friends?
