Then was it for the RESPECT???

Was it prestige I sought???

PUH-leeese, Don't be a nut!

Could it be the retirement then???

Now that would be nice...BUT...



OUR COUNTY doesn't take out FICA

And that leaves me kind of short.

So I guess I'll be on Welfare

When my career I finally abort.



Can you tell I'm having problems???

That I feel a bit let down???

Go figure, Einstein, You got it!!!

Every class today had clowns.



But one thing makes me carry on

Until a better day.

Once a month I have relief

You guessed it---ON PAY DAY.

I REALLY DO LOVE TEACHING BUT I HAVE A CLASS HERE HELPING ME BY BEING MY MOTIVATION TO WRITE, AND UMMMM, WELL THIS IS WHAT THEY GOT.

I dunno all sounds a bit honest to me…I love teaching, but some days it’s the money that keeps me there!
