I pray to the darkness
that it’ll stay away
I pray to the light
that it’ll forever stay
I pray to the moon and stars
that they’ll be my guide
when all else fails me
I pray to the rickety bridge
that it’ll hold
As I walk across life’s beautiful waterfalls.
Yes these are the things
that I pray...
Oh and I pray and I pray and I pray.
I pray that my parents hands will guide me
When I’m blinded by anger and rage.
I pray
that these hands will hold
me when I choose to not see what’s in front of me.
