Body of a mortal
Far from perfection
Flawed in countless ways
All but in heart
A heart of the gods
Unsurpassed among men
To love with its all
Pure and wholly, whole entity
Not knowing how do so
In anyway but with its all
Giving you everything
Straight down to the core
No cloak or veil
You can see it all
Take it or leave it
Still the heart stays the same
Broken and shattered
Many times before
Fragile in its entire existence
Pristine glass to the touch
And yet hardened from its experiences
Past has taught it to be tough
Flamed, extinguished
Only to be lit again
So though I may not give you much
But I give you my heart
With a love that’s yours for the taking
And unquestioned to the end
