Leaning back with our hands in the grass

As the sun sets and the sky burns

It’s getting colder so move a little closer

The last ounce of light curls beneath the horizon

Now it’s the stars chance to tell a tale

And as they tell their stories from far

Your eyes fill with wonder of what lies out there

On a tranquil night where only a breeze speaks

Where headlights help the shadows dance

And your hands are closely knitted with mine

This is an absolutely incredible feeling



Laying back with your head in the grass

Weariness sits upon your gentle eyelids

You’re a little sleepier so I move a little closer

Your last ounce of energy is fading

Now it’s your dream's turn to tell a tale

A story I hope you will enjoy

It’s time to go but we both say no

Your calm beautiful face needs not to speak

On a night where not one more word

Need be spoken at all

Because everything is spoken

As your lips softly touch mine

This is an absolutely incredible feeling



I’m lying back beneath my blankets warm

A streetlight through the blinds lights the wall

I’m falling asleep, I wish you were closer

It’s my turn to dream a perfect dream

But the dream I see I won’t remember

Because no dream will ever come close to this night

A night where your hand, your lips

Were oh close to mine

I fall asleep, you’re not here

But I want you to know

My love is only yours

Never fading endless love

Absolutely incredible feeling
