Love is not for trickery or debauchery
Love is for honesty and washes away all impurity
Love finds and seeks out the bottomless pit of soul
It makes moutains quake with its intensity
And makes boats at sea roll
Never backing down
Never throwing in the towel
Going through life on self reliance
It defeats the tempest and the storm
In sheer hope, it conquers all defiance.
Let me lean on you, Love,
the strong and true word that you are...
For you are more than merely tongue candy on my lips
You are the life inside these fingertips
Love for all you are worth
Never give in to the battle ahead
Fight with vigilance and courage
Not with cowardice and dread
For only fear will lead you
Closer to death's door
It will stomp you down
And knock you to the floor
True love is fearless
Though I indeed become ensnared in fear
But we all should learn from those gone before
We should endure
And so is taught The Strength In Love
