She doesn’t know she’s beautiful
Though it’s so often associated with her name
She thinks her looks aren’t that great
But I think she looks like an angel all the same
She doesn’t know she’s beautiful
Never before saw a figure so fine
Every time I try to tell her
She thinks I’m only throwing her a line
If she only knew the truth
Of every lady, she’s surely the most fair
Locks such an eloquent and fiery shade of red
Never before have I witnessed a beauty so rare
And when she walks on by
Someone always shouts a whistle out
But a girl such as her
Well, she doesn’t know what they’re all excited about
She doesn’t believe what I tell her
Though every last word of it is true
I’m not alone in holding this opinion
And still she doesn’t have a clue
She still doesn’t understand
Why whenever we go out somewhere
Every time she enters a room
All the heads do turn and stare
Morning comes and her hair’s all a mess
That’s when she thinks she looks her worst
Times like these, she can’t understand why I can’t take my eyes off her
Can’t understand why among beauty queens, she still ranks first
She doesn’t know she’s beautiful
It never crossed her mind
Her opinion of herself will probably never change
She’s just not that kind
Because she doesn’t know she’s beautiful
She doesn’t know she’s as radiant as the sun
And she’ll probably never believe me
When I tell her I think she’s the one
